My Rescue Cat
Leo
Leo came to my home after a very traumatic time. He had been rescued from his second home where the owner had been tying to make him live outdoors. Every time he tried to get in he was beaten (this was witnessed and reported to a local cat rescue volunteer and she got him away from there and into a rescue centre) I went there to get a companion for Ki and when they heard I had experience with cats and was interested in him I was lucky and they agreed I could adopt him. Unfortunately Ki was killed in an accident when he escaped out of the house and I then got Amy (Myaa Mima ) to keep him company. I got bitten by the show bug so I suppose that Leo is to blame rof me becomming a breeder.
When I first got him home he hid under furniture and only came out when I went out the room. Now he is the biggest softie. He is often the first to say hello to visitors and he loves to sit on a lap and has the most wonderful purr.He is a fabulous Grandad to my kittens and he has skittish moments with them which is wonderful to see. He is now 10 years young and still gets into trouble at times!
